About

Continuing the discussion started at the April meeting of the Sustainable Policy Working Group, this new meeting will focus on the following topics:

  • Collaboration with the working group of the Coalition for Energy Efficiency and the Ministry of Investments and European Projects for the PNRR;

  • Creation of subgroups such as those for EU Taxonomy and Green Finance, as well as those for the implementation of Green Deal objectives at the national level;

  • Submitting proposals to the Ministry of Public Works to support the harmonization of national legislation with EU regulations and the legislation of other member states regarding nZEB and Zero Carbon Buildings;

  • Renewing the partnership with the Ministry of the Environment to support the implementation of the Green Deal in Romania. RoGBC has already created a certification for green schools, and there are already local requests. We intend to promote it within the relevant Ministries as well. A standard for green hospitals would also be beneficial. We plan to reach out to the Minister of Health, Vlad Voiculescu;

  • RoGBC will continue its efforts at the local level to promote property tax reductions for green buildings;

  • RoGBC will continue to participate in European-level working groups and disseminate information to its members;

  • RoGBC will launch a public awareness campaign regarding the benefits of green buildings, especially the Green Homes program.

This event is exclusively for RoGBC members. If you wish to become a member, you can contact us at info@rogbc.org
