About

The conference "" aims to address the main issues identified in financing energy efficiency during the discussion:Energy Renovation of Buildings: Funding Challenges and Assumed Objectives

  • The funds allocated through the PNRR (National Recovery and Resilience Plan) are insufficient when considering the obligations assumed by the National Renovation Strategy and the "Renovation Wave" Strategy.

  • The current deadlock in the "Energy Efficient Home" program.

  • Concerns about the capacity to implement the "Increasing Energy Efficiency for Public Buildings" program.

Together with representatives from the Ministry of Environment, Waters and Forests, the Department for Sustainable Development, local public administrations, as well as representatives from associations promoting energy efficiency in buildings – RoGBC and ROENEF – we will provide answers and solutions to the most pressing questions:

  • How should all these programs be financed, and how can we mobilize private investments?

  • How can a permanent dialogue be established between central and local authorities, financial institutions, and the energy efficiency sector?

  • What regulations could further stimulate the development of funding sources for investments in building energy efficiency, ensuring the renovation of public and residential buildings (single-family and multi-family)?

  • What are the needs of public building owners in their energy renovation projects?

  • How can public building owners be assisted?

  • How will we prioritize investments toward the most energy-inefficient buildings, with a focus on reducing energy poverty?
