Daniel Nicolae Armenciu, Ph.D. | Lecturer at “Ion Mincu” University of Architecture and Urbanism, Bucharest | Partner Architect at Embryon Atelier SRL
Daniel N. Armenciu graduated from the “Ion Mincu” University of Architecture and Urbanism in 2008. His doctoral studies (2008-2012), which focused on “The Bioclimatic Project in Romanian Architecture,” were funded by a European grant through the EDUCAȚI program. Currently, he is a lecturer at the “Ion Mincu” University of Architecture and Urbanism and also teaches in the Green Building Professional program developed by RoGBC.
Daniel N. Armenciu is the author of several articles on sustainable design topics; he has participated as an organizer and speaker at various conferences on subjects such as sustainable design in architecture, universal design, contemporary insertions, and museums on heritage sites. Since 2017, he has been the co-founder and vice-president of BIMTECH – the Association for Research, Development, and Implementation of Technologies in Construction. His professional activity is complemented by his role in a young design team in Bucharest, Embryon Atelier SRL, where he works as a licensed architect, also providing consultancy on the application of eco-compatible principles in interventions on both new and existing buildings.
