Daniel Nicolae Armenciu, PhD Architect | Lecturer at the “Ion Mincu” University of Architecture and Urbanism, Bucharest | Partner Architect at Embryon Atelier SRL

Daniel N. Armenciu graduated from the “Ion Mincu” University of Architecture and Urbanism in 2008. His doctoral studies (2008-2012), focused on “Bioclimatic Design in Romanian Architecture,” were funded by a European grant through the EDUCAȚI program. He is currently a lecturer at the “Ion Mincu” University of Architecture and Urbanism and also teaches in the Green Building Professional program developed by RoGBC. Daniel N. Armenciu is the author of several articles on sustainable design; he has participated as an organizer and speaker at various conferences on topics such as sustainable design in architecture, universal design, contemporary insertions, and museums on heritage sites. Since 2017, he has been the co-founder and vice president of BIMTECH – Association for Research, Development, and Implementation of Technologies in Construction. His professional activity is further enriched through his work with a young design team in Bucharest, Embryon Atelier SRL, where he serves as a licensed architect, providing consultancy in applying eco-compatible principles to new and existing buildings.
