About

Course Objectives:

  • Establishing a relationship between sustainability requirements and the resources used in construction projects.
  • Understanding the environmental impact of construction materials on the surrounding environment.
  • Analyzing the design, use, and maintenance of resources throughout a building's life cycle.
  • Proposing an evaluation methodology and suggestions for improving materials used in construction, both in new projects and in rehabilitation projects.
  • Collaboration between experts from different fields to determine the role of each party involved in the project in order to reduce the negative impact on the environment.

Trainer:

  • Dragoș Riti
    Ex - President of the Romania Green Building Council, Executive Director of Premium Tech Team.
    Dragoș Riti is an expert in the construction field, involved in sustainable projects that focus on aspects related to design, execution, cost, and project management. He is one of the first graduates of the "Green Building Professional" certification and training program, initiated by RoGBC, and contributes his expertise in developing course curricula on the topic of "Green Building Assessment and Cost."
    Beyond his professional life, Dragoș is an enthusiast of the sustainability concept, applying the principles and solutions of this field in his personal activities as well.
    His experience in both large and small construction projects successfully serves the objectives of this project, with an objective vision in choosing the most sustainable and ecological solutions.
