DEVO 2019

Major Development Projects and Investments Worth Over 10 Billion Euros to Be Presented on October 25th in Bucharest at the Second Edition of DEVO - The International Forum of Major Developers.

Fifteen countries will be represented at this year's forum, showcasing projects across four thematic areas—mixed-use, office, retail, and industrial-logistics—that are building communities and developing cities: Romania, Austria, Slovenia, the United Kingdom, Germany, Russia, China, France, Greece, Poland, Belgium, Turkey, Norway, the Netherlands, and Switzerland.

Forty-five speakers will present at DEVO 2019 during the event's four plenary sessions: the first session dedicated to large mixed-use developments; the second session focused on office projects, featuring a unique concept with participation from “major tenants” who will discuss new workspaces; the third session showcasing commercial, industrial-logistics spaces, and new factories/production units; and the final session bringing together the world's leading building certifiers—WELL, LEED, BREEAM, GBCI, DGNB, HQE—and representative project management companies.

Over 300 investors and developers, construction companies, architects, consultancy and management firms will attend the second edition of DEVO to address the successes of the real estate industry from an international perspective, focusing on the three major thematic coordinates that define the event's concept: vision, investment, and development.

Key speakers on large development project management will include representatives from Vitalis Consulting, Bureau Veritas Romania, JLL Romania, and Sentient Consultants.

Representatives from major companies such as Mihai Anița - PwC Romania, Cozet Șerban - ING, and Adrian Purcarea - Microsoft Romania will discuss what these companies expect from the new workspaces they have recently moved into or will move into in the near future.

Highlighted projects in the program include mixed-use developments such as Mille Arbres in Paris, winner of the MIPIM Awards 2019 in the Best Future Projects category; Arena Central in Birmingham; Raffles City Hangzhou in China; Bispevika in Norway; Iulius Town in Timișoara; Golden City in Saint Petersburg, Russia; office developments such as Ana Tower Offices, The Mark, The Light One, Business Garden Bucharest, Skanska Campus 6, Expo Business Park, Olympic House in Switzerland; Airport City Vienna; retail developments like Mall of Netherlands and Vadistanbul Shopping Center in Turkey; and industrial-logistics developments such as the Alu Menziken factory in Medieșu Aurit, Satu Mare; Chapelle International in Paris, and projects developed by Zacaria, P3 Logistic Parks, and Globalworth.
