About

As an EU member, Romania has committed to contributing to the reduction of domestic greenhouse gas emissions by at least 55% compared to 1990 CO2 levels, as established in the Paris Agreement. It has also expressed its support for the EU's climate action and the goal of EU climate neutrality by 2050, along with the implementation of the European Green Deal. These government commitments will impact the built environment.

For this year's World Green Building Week (WGBW), sustainability experts from Cundall, along with industry leaders and the Romanian Green Building Council, will discuss Romania's journey towards net-zero carbon and what approach we should take for the future of the built environment.
