A one-day workshop aimed at investors, appraisers, financiers, facility managers, architects, engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders, for a better understanding of how sustainability affects the level of risk and, subsequently, the value associated with a green building.

The workshop will cover:

• Mandatory and voluntary certifications in the field of green buildings.
• Recent research in the field of green building appraisal and market trends.
• Occupancy rates and land lease values for green buildings.
• Costs, risks, and benefits of including a building in sustainable initiatives.
• Legislative requirements and sustainable incentives from the Government.
• Relevant case studies.

Andreea Semenescu 

Andreea is the Director of Research at NAI Romania, the sole representative in Romania of NAI Global, which is ranked fourth globally among real estate consultants. She also has a distinguished academic career, holding the position of Associate Professor in the Finance Department at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, with expertise in Corporate Finance and Valuation. Her scientific research focuses on corporate finance and investment analysis, resulting in numerous publications in international specialized journals and participation in prestigious international scientific conferences. Andreea is also a member of ANEVAR with a specialization in Real Estate Valuation.
