About

This course is one of the optional courses for those who wish to obtain the "Green Building Professional" certificate.

The step towards 3D and BIM (Building Information Modelling) is very simple and efficient with a tool like Allplan. The course aims to go through the methods of creating a proposed 3D building using predefined elements in assistants created for the trainees.

The materials used and the organization of installations differentiate green buildings from other constructions. These properties are defined when creating the 3D objects and are used throughout the project in various quantity reports, as well as in the calculation of energy consumption.

The management of the attributes behind the 3D constructions will be handled by combining Allplan with the BIM Plus platform and Excel to easily and quickly generate reports and attributes used in the Green Homes certification by RoGBC. Finally, the constructed building will be simulated under different conditions of geographic positioning, cardinal orientation, and the energy consumption of the building will be generated.

The course is aimed at architects, structural engineers, and energy auditors who are in a process of professional development, wish to significantly reduce the time required for energy simulation, and want to be prepared for BIM standards and green/passive houses, whose characteristics are soon to be required by law.
