• 23 September - World Green Building Day & RoGBC's 2nd anniversay

RoGBC celebrated World Green Building Day and it's 2nd anniversay and held events to promote green buildings in Romania.

Between 20-26 September Green Building Councils over the world celebrated World Green Building Week. The Romania Green Building Council invited you to celebrate together our 2nd anniversary, where we presented:

• The Special Report " Tackling Global Climate Change - Meeting Local Priorities", launched by World Green Building Council, that includes an overview of the economic, social and environmental challenges from different regions such as Europe, Asia-Pacific, Africa and America and the opportunities and how green buildings can play a central role in providing affordable housing, job creating and dezaster recovery and how different are evaluating these opportunities;

• A Position Paper of RoGBC regarding the concrete local measures that should be adopted in Romania in order to promote green building and create economic stimulus, new jobs and address  social issues associated with fuel poverty.

The press conference started at 4pm and was held at our office - str Ialomicioarei, nr 21. The anniversary party followed at 5pm.
