• 25-26 October - Energy Efficiency in Buildings. New European Requirements, The Parliament Palace

The reformatted European Directive on Energy Performance of Buildings 31/2010/EC requires that the Member States intensify their efforts for reducing energy consumptions in the building sector by adopting higher standards and action plans with ambitious targets. We invited you for a public and scientific debate on how Romania is ready to comply with the new European requirements.

The Romania Green Building Council has been invited to present "The emergence of a Romanian market for Green Buildings". Cristina Siu provided information on the growing investor demand, availability of green building products, technology, and services, and important trends changing the local market. Her presentation included brief case studies of Romania's green buildings and insight into planned projects.
