Sustainability in Architecture - Dutch-Romanian Ideas on Saving Energy in Buildings PDF Print E-mail

The Romania Green Building Council had an exhibit on sustainable construction at “Sustainability in Architecture - Dutch-Romanian Ideas on Saving Energy in Buildings”.  This event was organized by the Royal Netherlands Embassy in Bucharest and SenterNovem, the Agency for Innovation and Sustainable Development of the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs. H.E. Mr. Jaap L. Werner, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Romania and H.E. Razvan Murgeanu, State Secretary, Minister of Regional Development and Housing will provide opening comments.

In addition, the RoGBC held a presentation on “breaking the ‘circle of blame’ in Romania” and moderate a panel discussion on “competitiveness through sustainability”. The event took place on March 4, 2009, from 09:00, at Crowne Plaza Bucharest (Str. Poligrafiei nr.1, Sector 1, Sala Primavera si Crown Ballroom B & C) and will be followed by by a cocktail offered by the Royal Netherlands Embassy in Bucharest.
