Business Review, is organizing a conference and cocktail event for all the foreign business communities, on the 28th of November, at the Howard Johnson Grand Plaza Hotel in Bucharest, Iridium Hall, starting 18.00 hours.

The event was meaning as a year-end conference bringing to the table the conclusions of the country focus series of conferences that Business Review organized through the year. The debate was focused on the theme: Romania’s road to stability in the current volatile economic environment. The event was gathered representatives of chamber of commerce, embassies, top representatives of the investor’s community and government officials.

• Local macroeconomic issues that need to be tackled in a difficult global context. The two-speed Europe.
• The Euro-zone bank recapitalization and the local credit flow. What measures should be taken to keep the flux of liquidities coming in?
• Access to financing: what are the recognized best practices and how does Romania compare with other countries in the region? Making use of EU funds and state aid scheme.
• Romania’s engine for growth – energy and agriculture. What domestic and foreign challenges are these two sectors facing in 2011?

• Romania’s competitive advantages in the EU zone – natural resources, R&D, technology and human resources.
