A full day course focused on understanding the availability, benefits, legislative requirements and specification considerations for using Sustainable Construction Materials in construction project. Important green design concepts such as "cradle to cradle" and embodied energy were presented.



The 6 hours workshop is required for those seeking "Romania Green Building Professional" certification.

  • 9:00 am - Coffee and registration
  • 9:30 am - 5:30 pm - Training*

Bogdan Draganescu

Ph.D., M&OE - founder & managing director of Smart & Pepper Consulting

Bogdan Draganescu is a recognized authority and leader in the field of green buildings. As Managing Director of Smart & Pepper Consulting, and co-founder of Romanian Green Building Council, Bogdan has worked on wide range commercial and residential projects and has experience in green building materials, application and installation techniques. He was always an active sustainability trustee, pursued a strong interest in energy-efficiency and renewable energy, green building materials and environment-friendly building technologies. His passion for green buildings and sustainable building materials along with his construction management qualifies him as one of the most versatile green building consultant.

Bogdan has worked on numerous national and international projects for reputable companies and organizations including United Nations Developing Programme and is involved in promoting sustainable building materials, as a part of integrated energy strategies that drive a competitive advantage through a portfolio of energy efficiency and renewable energy sources.
