…have abundant natural daylight and better lighting …are free of toxic substances …have great acoustics to hear the lessons …save energy and protect Romania’s ecology …positive and aesthetic environments encouraging better attendance and higher quality learning summary The Romania Green Building Council (RoGBC) will organize a nationwide contest for Romania’s schools to award a prize package of green building materials, services and technology to help create a demonstration project that is beneficial to the winning school and informative and inspiring to visitors. description The RoGBC and its member companies are experienced in planning, designing, constructing/renovating and operating high performance green buildings. A high priority of the RoGBC mission is to provide demonstrations in Romania so the citizenry can see directly, excellent examples of building quality and green building principles in use. The prize package for the contest will be donated by companies leading the green building revolution in Romania with effective solutions to significantly improve health and learning ability of our schools occupants as well as the energy efficiency and environmental responsibility associated with the construction and renovation process. The package will include planning and design services, project management, ecological building materials and coatings, sustainable landscaping, and energy efficient and green energy technology. timeline
