“The Multifunctional Day Care Centre for Pre-School Children”

At the request of Mayor Oprescu's office and the new, but very active NGO "Green Revolution", the Romania Green Building Council is helping to organize a green renovation of a multifunctional day care center for pre-School children in Herastrau Park. The project is part of the "Capitala creste Verde" ("The Capital grows Green") launched to draw the attention of the Bucharesteans to the environmental issues the capital is facing: waste, water and air pollution, dust and street garbage, green spaces, civic spirit and education, outdoor activities, etc.

RoGBC member companies Vitalis Consulting (Project Managers) and Quattro Design (Architects) were selected to design and supervise the renovation. Other companies contributing to the project will be announced as the initial design and project plan are finalized.

The Mayor will hold a press conference at the building site on the morning of 4 April, at 11:00 am.
