Energy efficiency of buildings. Technical solutions and financing
Location : online
From: Thursday 14 April 2022, 10:00
To: Thursday 14 April 2022, 12:00

The “Energy efficiency of buildings. Technical solutions and their financing ” Conference is organized by Green Report on April 14, 2022, between 10.00-12.00. It will be broadcast online on the Green Report Facebook page and on the green-report.ro website.

In Romania, we are talking about the energy efficiency of buildings over ten years old.
On the one hand, we refer to the new buildings that must reach the nearly zero energy buildings (nZEB) standards from the moment of the project, but also to the fleet of old buildings that need to be rehabilitated and for which we have funds of 2.2 billion euros. through the "Wave of Renovation" from PNRR.
Renovating existing buildings in Europe with energy-saving insulation could save 660mT of carbon dioxide, twice as much as France emits in a year. Buildings can save 68% more emissions than the industry's next most profitable sector.
This time during the Green Report Conference, we aim to bring to the fore issues that are not talked about much in the public sphere: the quality of materials and building renovation works, but also how final beneficiaries can ensure that they have made the best choices that are truly effective and do not endanger their health or life.
Objectives of the Green Report Conference:
• Educating the final beneficiary in terms of innovative technologies and materials for new constructions, required to meet nZEB standards;
• We try to find and present feasible solutions for the park of old buildings so that their energy performance really increases and not just on paper;
• Methods to get really close to the goals that Romania has set for itself - increasing comfort, lowering energy bill costs and reducing carbon emissions;
• We are debating the issue of the new calculation method regarding the energy performance to be approved by the Ministry of Development;
• We discuss the benefits and challenges of current financing solutions (PNRR), but also of those that could be implemented / resumed (Energy Efficient House Program).
