The purpose of this workshop was to educate the Romanian marketplace on the advantages of green office policies, design, and renovation.

The event was useful for executives, architects, product designers, technologists, engineers, academics, students, and others interested in exploring ways to benefit from the important shift toward energy efficient and environmentally responsible design principle.

                                 

The workshop was interactive and:

• Provided practical knowledge about the legislation, requirements and market demand for greener office furniture

• Discussed green design principles and cost considerations

• Described ecological materials, their availability and benefits

• Highlighted the benefits of flexible office design from a green perspective

• Facilitated discussions among persons making decisions regarding office and retail spaces.

• Provided information on designing and implementing an Environmental Management System and other green office policies
